A couple years ago, DownEast Magazine named us the “Best Maine Food Ambassador Outside of Maine.” We were incredibly honored. But we felt like with that mantle, we needed to show off more Maine Food than just lobster.
This idea became the seed of a cookbook. It’s a journey around the state to find what all the best fishermen, farmers, and cooks are doing with Maine’s amazing ingredients. The book will be published by Rizzoli in 2015, so until then, you can get your sneak peak at our travels here.
Fisher is a work in progress, but looking sharp — thanks for the paint help, Uncle Pete!
What color should Luke paint his boat, Fisher? [OFFICIAL POLL]
This is the boat Luke built in high school, which he wants in the water before summer’s end. First, we sand and pressure-wash… (at Cape Elizabeth, Maine)

Love our rolls but hate the lines? Now you can order our Maine fare on the go and cut the line when you pick up! We partnered with our friends over at eyeBinary Mobile Development to bring you the Luke’s Lobster iPhone App. Kyle Murphy, one of this start up’s founding partners, who was a good friend of Luke’s at Georgetown has three life passions: lobster rolls, golf, and making applications for fellow small businesses. Combining two of his passions, Kyle couldn’t wait to help us go digital.
Like Luke’s lobster roll, the app is based on the idea that genius lies in simplicity. We just made ordering lobster rolls from your bed or office a whole lot easier. Simply select your favorite roll, customize, order, pay, and pick up! For now, the app will launch at our Georgetown location for all of our tech savvy lobster-lovers in the area. If all goes well, we are hoping to roll it out to more (maybe all!) of our locations shortly.
